Katherine M. Johnson, CPA
I graduated from Georgetown College with an Accounting degree in 1990, and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1996 while working in the corporate world where I worked for over 24 years. I opened and built my own accounting business while continuing to work a full time corporate job in financial modeling and accounting.
I opened my CPA firm in 2014, and in 2016 moved to the current location at 143 East Main Street with a full time staff of three ladies.
My office has now grown to over 900 tax clients (both individual and small businesses); bookkeeping/accounting for 45 small businesses; payroll; consulting in Quickbooks; and CFO outsourced opportunities.
We specialize in helping small businesses thrive. We help small businesses start up, set up Quickbooks, figure out accounting nightmares and resolve tax issues.
My passion has been assisting, serving and providing leadership at local nonprofits in Georgetown/Scott County where I served on the board of directors for many years. I have a son that is at WKU. When not working, my husband and I love traveling.
